About

The 2025-2026 Colorado FFA State Officer Team received funding from a special donor in 2025 to start a philanthropy program to give back to FFA members and chapters across the state! The My Cause My Corduroy Foundation empowers generations of Colorado FFA State Officers to identify the evolving needs of the organization and serve by providing strategic fiscal support. The Foundation is committed to two key goals: Cultivate philanthropic leadership in State FFA Officers and increase access for members to engage in FFA.

2026 Application Deadline: March 15th

EVENT SUPPORT

This grant is designed to support members with travel costs, contest materials, and other resources needed to compete.

A core part of premier leadership, personal growth, and career success is the ability for every member to participate fully in competitions and activities. However, we recognize that financial limitations can create barriers to involvement. To help bridge that gap, we are introducing a grant designed to support members with travel costs, contest materials, and other resources needed to compete. Whether you require scrubs for your Vet Science team, a welding helmet, florals for practice, or other essential items, this grant is here to help. The State Officer team is committed to ensuring that all members have equitable access to opportunities that foster growth, engagement, and leadership within FFA.

FFA OFFICIAL DRESS

This grant is designed to help remove barriers by providing essential

components of FFA Official Dress

FFA Official Dress is the first impression that individuals outside our organization get when interacting with FFA members. We as State FFA Officers see the need to assist with more than just the famous corduroy jacket. Whether it’s dress shoes, slacks, skirts, nylons, or scarves and ties, everyone deserves the chance to belong with the items of FFA Official Dress. We recognize that financial limitations can create barriers for members who wish to fully participate in FFA events, competitions, and leadership opportunities. By receiving FFA Official Dress items, members can confidently represent FFA at chapter, district, state, and national functions. This support allows students to focus on learning, leading, and growing—rather than worrying about the cost of attire. It also reinforces our commitment to ensuring that every student feels welcome, included, and prepared to take part in the full FFA experience.

RESPONSIVE
ASSISTANCE

This grant is designed for members who have faced struggles with natural disasters, unexpected life hardships, or have significant financial barriers that affect their participation in Agriculture Education and FFA

Life’s unexpected challenges can deeply impact individuals. As State FFA State Officers, we believe no member should navigate hardship alone. To support members facing natural disasters or other unforeseen events or circumstances, we are committed to offering financial assistance aimed at easing the strain of rebuilding or alleviating financial barriers.

Whether you’ve experienced a barn fire, significant project losses, or personal hardship that affects your ability to move forward, we want to stand beside you. While emotional support has always been a core part of what we offer, we are proud to extend that commitment through tangible financial relief.

Throughout the year if you or the members of your chapter have a need that this grant can aid, apply and the State FFA Officers will see how they can provide. Though we cannot remove the pain of these moments or life hardships, we hope to help lighten the burden and ensure that every member feels supported through difficult times.

“You may not need the grant, but you can still sow a seed of

support to help members thrive.”
